Latchways has revolutionised the rescue process with the development of the Latchways PRD. A lightweight, unobtrusive personal rescue device that is an integrated full body harness system for self-rescue contained in a small backpack attached to a full body harness. The MSA Personal Rescue Device is designed to be used in conjunction with a fall protection system or anchor point. In the event of a fall the device lowers the person gently to the ground in a controlled descent. Dramatically reduces rescue time. 20m descent height. Descent speed: 0.5-2m per second.
